Business Analysis Training
Business Analysis has become a critical competency of successful project management. SPL offers those looking to develop or improve their business analysis skills and/or attain business analysis certification a number of business analysis training classes including our Simulation Powered Learning® training. All of our workshops focus not only on learning the tools and processes of business analysis, but gaining the competency to apply those skills on the job! SPL business analysis courses are compliant with and support the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge ™ and prepare students for business analysis certification through the Project Management Institute and their Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) certification.

“Business Analysis Fundamentals”
Business Analysis Fundamentals is a 2 day class where participants learn the fundamental tools and techniques of business analysis from an enterprise, project and implementation perspective. The workshop covers the business analysis process and business analysis framework; breaking the process down into its individual pieces beginning with the start of a project (identifying requirements) and continuing through to project completion (validating requirements).

Business Analysis Fundamentals Simulation Powered Learning® Workshop adds our Business Analysis Simulation to our 2 day Business Analysis Fundamentals training to make it a 3 day class. Students practice and learn how to apply best practice business analysis skills through a computer simulation. The simulation powered learning is practical, engaging, intense and challenging.

“Eliciting and Modeling Project Requirements”
Eliciting and Modeling Projects Requirements is a 2 day class where participants learn and practice eliciting and documenting project requirements. Throughout every top ten project failure list are reasons directly or indirectly related to poor requirements. This class first focuses on techniques that help you make sure you get the right requirements from the right stakeholders and then documenting those requirements in a way that everyone understands them. Second the class covers how to analyze and model the requirements leading to better solutions and more satisfied stakeholders. Students practice customer interviewing, Joint Application Development (JAD) and modeling techniques that help to capture project requirements.
